Cruz has taught playwriting at Iowa/Playwrights’ Workshop, NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, University University, and at Amherst Faculty, and guest lectured at Philanthropist University, Wesleyan University, Mount Holyoke College, and Columbia University.[10]
